The comming month of May, Jaén hosts at the Recinto Provincial de Ferias y Congresos, the sixteenth edition of Expoliva, the world's largest meeting of the olive oil and allied industries sector, which every two years takes place in the province of Jaén, with the ultimate objetive of showing the latest tendencies, technological innovations and processes, as well as the development and extraction of the richness that we have in the province of Jaen: the olive oil. We shall not forget that one of every four liters of "green gold" generated in the European Union is produced in the province of Jaén and that half the production of olive oil that is obtained in Spain comes from Jaen.

This fair, dedicated to the sector of the olive grove and the olive oil, had its first edition in 1983, and since then, its growth has been spectacular in both media, physical space, economic impact and professional visitors, which makes it present itself as the point of reference for the industry. If you have something to say in the world of olive oil, you can not miss Expoliva 2013.

L'area provinciale fieristica e congressuale di Jaén accoglie una nuova edizione della Fiera internazionale dell'olio d'oliva e affini, Expoliva.

Si tratta di un evento importante, dedicato all'olio d'oliva, che vede riuniti espositori nazionali ed internazionali, provenienti da diversi paesi europei e del Nord Africa, tra gli altri. Gli espositori sono distribuiti in diversi settori classificati in funzione all'attività svolta: coltivazione, produzione, servizio, vendita; vi sono inoltre il settore delle istituzioni pubbliche e quello delle istituzioni private. Contestualmente alla fiera commerciale si tiene un simposio tecnico su questo prodotto.
